Resident Logologist and owner Scott Alvik has been involved in the log construction business since he built his own log home in 1998. Cabin Doctor, LLC. strictly works on log homes, and as a fellow log homeowner, understands all aspects of wanting to restore and preserve your home and lifestyle. From the beginning we have strived to serve the log home industry coming to specialize in the repair and restoration of older log homes. Much of our work is on Chestnut homes and we are one of the few restoration companies that stock Chestnut logs salvaged from homes set for the wrecking ball. We also stock log posts, log railing and wall logs in Pine and Cedar. Ask us about our staining on new log homes, existing homes and maintenance programs.
