Richbrook Conservation provides paint investigation services for historic properties, serving architects, agencies, homeowners, contractors and others involved in the care and interpretation of historic buildings nationwide. Historic paint investigation is typically done through careful on-site examination of the physical fabric of the building, extraction of paint samples for lab microscopy, and related documentation of paint layer sequences and/or colors, as required for the project goals.
