Cutting and installing masonry units including, brick, block, and various types of stone. Splitting, shaping, and trimming stone for walls and veneers both dry stack and mortared. Experience with manufactured venneer stone as well
Design, layout and construction of fireplaces, chimneys, wood fired ovens, masonry arches, walls and other structures.
Mortar removal using diamond cutting blades, pneumatic mortar removal tools.
Neat, proficient application of mortar and finish tooling. Removal and replacement of brick and stone with minimal disruption of adjacent areas.
Repointing of masonry structures both modern and antique using cement/lime and lime mortars.

Dismantling, cleaning and reuse of original materials on structures, including, chimneys, fireboxes, hearths, beehive ovens, masonry arches, walls, capstones, lentils, sills and thresholds. Also the dismantling, cleaning and Reinstallation of antique marble, and slate fireplace surrounds. Expert Knowledge in the use and application of Ventinox stainless steel and Ahrens chimney lining systems.
Specialized knowledge in the cleaning and application of refractory materials inside the fireplace smoke chamber as part of the relining process. References Available
