The 200 Year Old Historic Florentine Hotel * Restoration 2016

The summer the Historic Florentine Hotel turned 200 years old in 2016, a car lost control and ran into the front, right side of the old building. Smashing through into what was once the ballroom in early years and is now seating in the 200 year old restaurant. We replaced the damaged front facade with new custom Marvin windows, we rebuilt the wall and covered with cedar lap siding and exterior support posts were installed. Our structural engineer advised the foundation needed to be stabilized with a new foundation which was poured to help support the 200 year old floor joists. New exterior and interior paint along with new flooring to tie into existing tongue and groove flooring. In closing, it is always a pleasure working with this grand lady, you cannot tell a car ever hit the her. We discretely like to say she had a little face lift, shhh. Here's to another 200 years!
