Project Info
c. 1880 Queen Anne Restoration, Chester County, PA
This project required precise replication of the original cornice moldings, and a new sub-structure to secure it into the brick walls and provide pitch for the gutters that are built into it. New copper gutter was all formed to fit the cornice, integrated into the existing roof and properly joined and soldered. Mortar analysis was performed to determine the composition of the pebble-finish stucco and tinted brick pointing, and multiple test panels were created to determine the best method of application for the stucco. Arched window frames and casing were re-built, restored and re-glazed.
