This Blanket Chest came to our shop for the removal of white water stains that had penetrated deep into the original varnish finish.  Stains were slowly and carefully removed preserving the original varnish finish.  The full antique value of this fine piece has been maintained. It has not been devalued at all due to the proper use of accepted conservaiton techniques.
