Wood Window Restoration

Various wood window projects, each with different amounts and types of damage to both sash and sill.  Both newer and older windows can require a plan for restoration and/or repair, depending on the specific building's needs.

Nosing cut back, a new piece of wood was attached with epoxy and fasteners. The existing wood had so much fungus it wasn't good to keep.

This window has a prepainted new jamb, the endgrain of which was consolidated and set into place with epoxy patch to seal and fill any voids. The original windowsills were not pitched so a rot resistant wood sill was milled and installed to create proper pitch.
