Cob blasting to restore log homes
To follow are some examples of log homes and timber homes that have been cob blasted by Blastmaster. We specialize in cob blasting as one step in the process of restoring log homes. Stains and finishes can fail for a number of reasons, but mainly it is simply age and weather. If a log home's finish is not properly maintained, it will eventually need to be removed and a new finish applied. Some people choose to use chemicals or pressure washing to remove failing finishes, but we prefer a dry method that leaves the logs looking new. Check out these examples.
